The Refresh Button
When you think of spring break, you immediately think of the beach, the sun, and sand. Not me, at least not this year. Every Spring, like January, brings a chance for a fresh start. January is a time for new beginnings and Spring is a chance to refresh.
The New Year has been amazing so far. I've been crushing my resolutions and truly getting to know myself better and better. However, what comes with discovering yourself comes discovering your weaknesses. I don't know about you, but I'm a perfectionist, I don't deal well with weakness.
I'm about to enter a season of craziness. In a few days, I fly out to Aspen, Colorado to intern for Après Ski Cocktail Classic. Two days after getting back I am driving to Nashville. The day after we get back from Nashville it's straight back to work and school for the final stretch of the semester before going full time at work. Let's just say I don't feel like I have room for any shortcomings.
“To everything, there is a season, a time for every purpose under heaven.” —Ecclesiastes 3:1
Throughout all this craziness ahead I'm hoping to find time to reflect and find the peace in the crazy. Peace isn't easy to come by but is essential to happiness.
"You, Lord, give perfect peace to those who keep their purpose firm and put their trust in you." - Isaiah 26:3
What do you need to be refreshed for?
