So many women, of all ages, always wish they ate healthier, worked out more, had a bikini-ready body, etc.; I am one of those women. I love my greens and healthy foods, but what I love just as much is French fries, pizza, cake and all the stuff that stands in the way of that healthy lifestyle. It wasn’t until recently that I found a way to tackle two obstacles I’ve been facing. I recently transferred to the University of Central Florida and only knew a few of the 65,000-student population. Thanks to social media I was able to hear about an organization that was precisely what I was looking for, CHAARG.
CHAARG stands for “Changing Health, Attitudes + Actions to Recreate Girls” and I couldn’t be more excited to get started. Being able to join a national organization that allows me to connect with thousands of other girls my age that are aspiring to accomplish the same thing as me is honestly inspiring. While of course I’ve tried working out and dieting and have had success, it's just not something I maintain where as having this group to fall back on gives me the sense of relief that I can keep going.
I cant wait to kick-start the CHAARG Booty Camp but with all the challenging sweat seshes and the fit plans but I’m excited to challenge myself in a new way. I’m challenging myself to keep a journal of all my goals, challenges, accomplishments, and everything in between. I’ve always wanted to be the girl with an in-depth diary she keeps up with, but that’s just not me. This summer I will try to push myself to express myself in a new way.
With workouts about to be underway and meal planning already in the works, this summer is going to be a fun + challenging way to be the person I want to be, and I couldn’t be more excited.
